Collecting Japan's Eki Stamps (national geographic article)

I love adding a mission to a vacation. In Japan this is easy - collecting the Eki Stamps at temples, shrines, train stations, museums … it is a treasure hunt.

Any notebook will do. Some places will have pages preprinted which can be set between pages. I always try to use the stamp pad as it has the history of all the people that stamped before me.

I recently found my notebook from 15 years ago and I smiled as I saw the haiku that my mom and my wrote.
